Step 1: Create your Knaken Account
Your journey begins by creating a Knaken account. If you already have an account, you are halfway there. After downloading the app, you start our registration flow, which you can complete in about five minutes. At the end of the flow, you will have uploaded your identification and address verification. Step 2: Add your exchange wallet
After completing the first step, you can add your exchange wallet to your Knaken account. Select the cryptocurrency for which you want to add a wallet and enter the wallet address. Completing these fields will initiate a wallet verification process. Upload two screenshots of your wallet here, one clearly showing your wallet address and a second displaying your wallet history. Our compliance team will then review your wallet verification and approve or reject it based on the provided photos.
If you have coins on different networks on the exchange, you can add multiple addresses. Note that some stablecoins can be sent through different networks. Double-check that the network in your wallet verification matches the network you plan to use to send the coins.
Step 3: Send your USDT
Once you have added your wallet(s), you will receive the wallet address from Knaken that you can use to send a specific coin. Note that when sending your coins, it’s important not to transfer everything but to leave a small amount to cover the gas fees required for sending the coins. For most networks, this is a few cents, but for example, the Ethereum network may sometimes charge over €1 for sending coins.
