At Knaken, we are constantly striving to improve the security and user experience of our platform. Today, we are excited to announce the introduction of Passkeys in our portal, with plans to expand this feature to our app soon.

What are Passkeys?
Passkeys are a modern, secure way to log into your Knaken account without the need for a traditional password. Instead, it uses biometric data (such as your fingerprint or face) or a device PIN. This means you can quickly and easily access your account without having to remember complicated passwords.

Traditional passwords can be vulnerable to attacks, especially if they are weak or reused on multiple sites. Passkeys, on the other hand, offer a much higher level of security. Don’t worry; this option will remain available even after you activate Passkey. You can choose the login method that works best for you and that you feel most comfortable with.
How to Activate Passkeys
Activating Passkeys on the Knaken portal is simple:
1. Log in to your Knaken account in the portal.
2. Go to Account in the menu and click on Passkeys.
3. Click on Create Passkeys and save your passkeys in your browser, keychain, or 1Password with your account.
Once Passkeys are activated, you can start using them immediately for a faster and more secure login experience.
